Meet and Greet

This is our house. A charming craftsman style bungalow built in 1902 on top of Queen Anne Hill (more on that later). There is just something timeless about this house. From the picture rails to the crown moulding, it is just perfect.

Let's go inside! Now keep in mind these are the Realtor pictures with staging equipment in them, not what it looks like now.

When you walk in the front door this is your first view of the house. Not much of a formal entry way but I've got plans for that.  I just love the fireplace and chandelier. That view from the couch to the fire place is what sold me on the place. And the original hard wood floors.

Next you walk into the formal dining room (where I can not wait to have a big holiday meal) and through the kitchen into the breakfast area. I want to build banquet seating there and make it nice and cozy.

Upstairs there is an office off of the dining room:
And the master bed and bath:
The bathtub is the best. It is one of those old claw foot style soakers. THE BEST!

There are also two bed rooms in the basement. One we plan to turn into the guest bed and one will be the library.

Once things get a bit less crazy I'll get some pictures of the current living situation, but as all of you who have moved know, it is chaos here.
